I am the current Technical Director of the Minds & Machines
Lab, and have been involved with the lab since 1998. I've been at
RPI since 1994, and have earned a B.S. in Computer Science and Psychology,
and have recently earned my M.S. in Cognitive Systems Engineering
(Psychology). I run the day-to-day activities of the lab, and handle
the "detail work" of the research performed here. My research
is in immobot technology, sometimes known as immobile robots or
intelligent environments. My interests are pretty far-ranging, and
include things like the electric bass, sign language, handwriting
analysis, origami, professional wrestling (yes, really!), application
development, hypnosis, and kinesics.
